What is a Portrait Party?
A portrait party is a different and fun way to enjoy the company of your friends and family. As a Host of a portrait party, you invite 4 to 7 families to your home for a special photo session. Your guests may bring anything or anyone they would like to include in their portraits. Your guests may come and go, or stay after their session is over to chat for a while. View your proofs instantly.  It is a great way to have portraits done in a relaxed atmosphere. Your friends and family will thank you.


How do Portrait Parties work?
The Portrait Party is organized by the party Host. Hosts provide the location, coordinate the snacks, drinks, activities, the guest list and scheduling the 30 minute session times. Guests enjoy a good time and their children will enjoy a short and concise setting. After each of the guest's photo sessions, they will view their proofs instantly and will be able to choose their portraits according to their package. Guests will also be able to purchase extra prints by visiting http://CandCCreativePhotography.lifepics.com.  After the guests have ordered their prints, the Host will then be able to place an order based on
credits from their guests purchases.


What's in it for me if I Host a Portrait Party?
As Host, you will receive a FREE portrait package which includes:

Extra prints may be purchased. The primary benefit of hosting a party - aside from having a lot of fun, is to build enough portrait credits to pay for your family pictures. Some Hosts use credits to buy portraits they normally wouldn't, like a 16x20 enlargement. While it is a bit of work, after hosting your first party you will quickly find yourself a portrait junkie and be able to look back at the years of hosting parties with a wealth of family portraits covering your walls. You receive credits depending on the amount of sales from your party.

How do I schedule a Portrait Party?
Simply put together several prospective dates to ensure everyone's schedule match up and to ensure availability.
Four to seven  families/ groups must attend. Not including the Host.  
Then call us or email us at C_CCreativePhotography@hotmail.com.  We will send you a  "Hostess Manual Package" that will include invitations, tips, policies, and a schedule sheet. Send us back the schedule sheet and wait for the fun day to arrive.


What are my Hostess responsibilities?
The Portrait Party is organized by the party Host. The Party Host is the key ingredient to a successful party. Once you receive the Hostess Manual Package, complete the schedule sheet and promptly mail it back to us. Also, pass out the invitations to your attending guests. Let each family know that you will be collecting their package deposit fee and order form no later than one week before the party to reserve their spot. On the day of the party, just enjoy the company of your guests and we'll do the work. 

Within a 2 week period, we will deliver all packages to you and you will distribute them accordingly. Please contact us if you need more information.

It is up to the Host to provide a "party" atmosphere. The host may include music, refreshments, snacks, and or even hand out "goodie bags" which includes a pretty picture frame or small album. The atmosphere should be "come and go" - your guests may choose to stay and chat a while or be on their way.

I'm attending my first Portrait Party,
what should I do?
As a guest at a portrait party, you get to have the most fun! Your host may ask you to bring a snack or beverage to share. You can let them know at this time how many will be included in your sitting. Once you receive the invitation from the Host, pick your package and promptly RSVP with the Host. Send  appropriate funds to the Host for which package you chose at least one week before the party. Please get permission prior to bringing any pets that you want to be included in your portrait sitting.

 As an honored guest of a Portrait Party, you have the privilege of having our sitting fee waived. All you pay for are your portraits! You will be able to choose your portraits instantly after your photo shoot. You will also be able to purchase extra prints through our portrait proofing website at http://candccreativephotography.lifepics.com/. Your friends and family are also welcomed in purchasing from our proofing website. This is a great way to share portraits with them. All our albums in our picture proof website are private; therefore, you will be given an Event Code to access your portraits.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Please let your Host know if you will not be able to make your scheduled session; your host has put a lot of effort into your portrait party please be courteous and ensure you're invited to the next party! All portrait package fees are non refundable. We understand emergencies happen. Contact us so we may reschedule your photo shoot.


   
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or check. We are also currently accepting debit or credit cards through our proofing website for extra prints purchases only.

2.  A minimum of 4 groups must participate.
(not including the Host)

3.  Guest deposit fee is according to the package they choose.
 The deposit must be made to the Host within one week from the party date.

All prints processed by professional photo-finishing lab.
Prices are subject to change.
All session fees are non-refundable. Taxes and shipping not included.
An extra fee applies for areas outside of El Paso.
