Meet the Photographers
Carol Moreau
I first was bitten by the photography bug when as a teenager I inherited my father’s 35mm camera. Over the years the cameras changed but my love of photography only grew stronger. I was the one who was chosen to record the events with family and friends and became the unofficial photographer. A few years back I branched out and started photographing weddings and found that I enjoyed capturing the special day for the bride and groom. After that, a new round of children arrived within my circle of friends and family and I enjoyed capturing them in photographs so I decided to offer my services to others as well. At this time I started using a digital SLR camera and found it opened up a whole new world for me. Having a business on my own was fun and interesting but not as productive as I wanted it to be, I wanted to be able to offer something more to our clients so decided to join forces with Caryl to better serve those we photograph. I also continue to learn how to best serve our clients by continuing my education to make your session one you will be proud to display for family and friends.

I have had a passion for photography for over 10 years. It all began back in high school when I first stepped into a darkroom. I fell in love with the process of taking my own pictures and developing the negatives then finally seeing the final image on paper. My first camera was a Minolta point and shoot camera that my mother had given me as a birthday gift. I took it everywhere with me. I attended my first photography workshop about a year later. Thinking I came into this with a good camera, I noticed I was the only one in the group without a SLR camera. It was time for an upgrade. My earlier interests were architecture, scenics, and close-up photography. I then discovered the joy of portraiture. My mother and my dogs, Luke and Mindy, have been my muses. I have enhanced my craft by studying from the New York Institute of Photography and attending photography workshops. Currently, I am attending El Paso Community College majoring in Digital Media Production and also studying Graphic Design.
